Technician, Accounting and Operations


The role of Technician, Accounting and Operations consists of completing various accounting and financial tasks under the tutelage of the VP of Finance. You will also be involved in a number of fiber optic projects with the Operations team. It is a versatile, permanent position in a rising telecommunications company with a dynamic team.


• Running monthly customer invoices, communications, and credit notes
• Maintaining monthly revenue walk file, comparison with previous months, and other pertinent financial documents
• Maintain excellent relationships with customers and suppliers
• Collecting payments from accounts with outstanding balances
• Execute certain end of month entries and bank conciliations
• Update, on a daily basis, the CAPEX and OPEX tracking file for all fiber optic construction projects, file supplier invoices and invoice the respective projects
• Assist in CRM migration project to Netsuite, an ERP system
• Assist in Ad-hoc projects related to your role


• University degree in accounting, administration, business or any other equivalent training
• 2 to 3 years experience in a similar role
• Fluent in French and English
• Organised, autonomous and methodical worker
• Analytical thinker
• Ability to communicate effectively with a variety of departments (Accounting, Sales and Operations) and support them in bringing projects to completion
