We launched the Expo Route in September 2023 for Montréal’s fast-growing community of large-scale data users: global cloud providers, telecom carriers, universities, and the local digital industry. They need capacity that crosses the river without relying on a single path.

“The explosive growth of AI, gaming and other cloud-based applications in Montréal is driving strong demand. The Expo Route, an extremely reliable, state-of-the-art and high-capacity digital network, plays a critical role in keeping Montréal on the leading edge of technology development.”

A geo-diverse path off the island

The route runs more than 200 km and offers the only geo-diverse alternative to the existing, largely aged off-island telecom networks. On it we deliver high-count dark fiber as well as high-capacity lit services.

Direct reach to cloud and long-haul routes

From the Expo Route, customers reach the largest on-ramps to public cloud services directly, along with the major long-haul routes heading south to the United States, east toward the Maritimes and Europe, and west toward Toronto, Vancouver and Asia.
